The ski area in Bad Kleinkirchheim may not be the largest in Austria, but it is extremely diverse – with interesting geometry and landscapes. There is some information I analyzed and put together:
- The total length of the routes is about 108 km.

The resort most famous ski slope is the Franz Klammer slope with its unique geometry and landscape (the middle section of the descent trail is almost vertical). The resort also has a snowboard center and a halfpipe, and hosts snowboard competitions and shows.
There are also opportunities for freeride. You can find off-piste areas in the Mulde fur Tiefschneefahrer area on the Kaiserburg mountain. In winter, you can also go hiking – there are about 60 km of marked trails. Other winter activities include an outdoor skating rink and dog sledding tours.
